Kohler Generator

My manual shows the fuel dip tube from the generator installed in the same fitting as the truck fuel line. The generator dip tube is shorter though. You would have to drop your tank to access it. Seems unlikely to me that they would plug it right at the tank. I would try to follow the line from the generator and see if it got crimped somewhere. Also a possibility that it's just glogged cause it's old. Maybe try blowing out the line and then prime to restart and pull fuel back into the line. One other thing. Is your gas tank full. Your generator won't start if the fuel level is down too far. It's supposed to be 1/4 tank but mine stops at about 1/3 of a tank. Saves you from using your fuel in the gen set and getting you stuck somewhere
