bufbooth
I do not know about the ST205-75-R14 Hercules that you mentioned, but one red flag would be the 205-75 size. The 205-75 might end up being too wide to be used for your Duellys, that is they might end up touching which is bad (heat build up, tire explodes), Regarding the Hankook RA08, I know that a 195/R14 Load Range D works great with the Duellies, I have them on my 1990 Odyssey (6,500 lbs) which I think is the heaviest model of the Toyotas and I still have a solid 1/2 gap between the tires, and have seen others use the same tire. The Hankook RA08 used to be hard to find (at least in my neck of the woods), but a recent search showed that Sears, Walmart, Discount Tire, and others now carry them or can order them. The above size basically has a 2,000 capacity. Dennis...

I've 185 14 C's on mine Just had them put on at Merchants for about 520 for all six. They are the Ranger "Thunderer." Company is out of Thailand, and gets good reviews. Had 'em for about 400 miles now and I really like them. Roll and track well and not noisy at all, unless you're on grooved pavement, which makes all tires noisy anyway. Deep, deep tread on them. Drove in a rainstorm yesterday (first time with the new ones), and really noticed an improvement in stopping power over the old tires. The old tires were Goodyear, and they were still in decent shape, except for the one that had a blowout, but I like these a lot better. Especially since the GY's are twice the price, almost. straygoose
Hmmm...why did my post end up inside the quote? Weird.
timay
Wow thanks for the quick replies! I am not able to find the Thunderer Tires anywhere online for order, and unfortunatly no Big O/Merchants around within 100 miles. I don't want to drive it on its current tires very far, it has been sitting for quite some time. Looks like a little north of $700 mounted and balanced anywhere locally for RA08 tires. As far as the rear duals are concerned does anyone know if they are welded together or split on a 1991 Micro Warrior? Is spin balancing really that important on duals? It would save me $60 if I could skip it. Edited September 3, 2013 by timay
Derek up North
The 'ST' in the tire size designation you first mention indicates that they are for Trailer Service ONLY. This should be marked on the tires, too. I find it irresponsible (or downright ignorant) that they were offered to you.
waiter
Take your best deal to your local tire store, they will probably match it, if not, say thank you and I bet before you hit the door, they'll match it. AND - Don't let them stick you with shipping, they have runners once a day come from their warehouse. John Mc 88 Dolphin 4 AUto
bufbooth
The rear rims on your 1991 should be split (vs welded) and all six of your rims should be identical. Dennis...
