alans
I am a new owner of a 93 Dolphin and want to install a Onan Microlite 2.8 generator. Since a generator was not installed at the factory, the take-off assembly on top of the tank does not have the extra tap for a generator connection. What is the best way to get fuel to the generator? Replace take-off assembly, if I can find one? Tap into an existing fuel line? Tap into tank above the 1/4 level? Any suggestions will be appreciated. PLTIdwell
Very interested in answers to this question as well. Additionally, since the Onan units are so expensive, would like to hear from others about other INTERNAL solutions to this problem. The idea of a genset on the rear bumper will not work for me. Maineah
Seems to me a $1,000 Honda and all that work you might be able to buy an Onan generator with enough power to run an AC? The fuel taps are available from Onan.
