When we bought our 'Rader motorhome, the previous owners had installed some contact paper behind the stovetop and the sink. It looked pretty bad, so we removed it and made a template out of cardboard that fit the space. We took the template to our local machine shop and had them make a brushed stainless steel panel to match the template. It was a little tricky getting it installed, but we really like it. As I recall, it cost less than $50. Here is a photo.

You trying to turn that thing into a Air Stream? Looks good bet it makes cleaning a lot easier.

Agreed, it looks nice. Do you happen to remember what thickness SS you used? Don't want it too thin to avoid dents. What do you use to keep it clean? There are special SS cleaners. And finally, how is it held in place? Adhesive or screws?

We carry a small spray can of stainless steel cleaner that works well. The panel is held in place at the top by the range hood and on the right side by the cleat for the side window miniblind cord. On the left side, we slid it behind the vertical strip of carpet trim which holds it real tight. along the bottom we put a strip of aluminum angle which is screwed down to the counter top behind the stovetop and sink. We wanted to minimize drilling holes through the SS but did have to drill 4 holes to hold the status panel.

Thank you all for the compliments, we had a great time renovating the rig. The panel, is I recall, is 1/16" thick - no dents yet!
