I have read on here about the last 4-numbers showing the week/year that a tire was made and I have some old tires laying around that read this way..Really simple!Has the DOT changed the format? I have my 6 rims at a place getting new 8-ply coopers put on.I looked at the codes when droping them off and crap,DOT code differant.I have coopers on other cars I own so this is the code on my cooper discover tires I bought last spring for my Wrangler.DOT UT1T C8E.This is how the codes look on the new ones also. That is all I can see on either side wall..So how do you read this code?

The DOT codes have not changed, but they may be only on one side of the tire.
