MR.D
I got my RV insurance all straightened out last week and noticed my my ins. company classifies my '90 Dolphin as a Micro-Mini, is this a common term for Toyota RVs? I guess it does make sense that they'd be classified as something between a Class B and a Class C.
nolan
Guess it depends on the classifier as I have seen them reffered to as class C's, micro's, micro minis, and mini motorhomes. I just call mine a Toyota Chinook Actually the title states MH as its classification.
nolan
From what I understand the class "A" is for the large bus style motorhomes, class "B" is the van style campers that use the van style body, class "C" is the normal motorhome camper that is like the Toyota or others, and class "D" is for the slide in campers for pickups. They should have a class "T" for us Toy fans as the Toyota is in a class of its own. Right?
tsurber
Originally the Class C was refered to as a mini motor home. Since they mostly started at 24 to 26 ft. that fit. The Toyotas produced were in general all 22' and less, with the first of the pack all around 17 - 18 ft. thus the micro mini title.
