First time Propane check - help

Recommended Posts

I’m going to test all the appliances today or tomorrow. This is my first RV so I’m unsure of the way I’m supposed to pressurize the lines and light everything. Hot water, furnace, stove, refrigerator.  Can someone please run through a bullet list of how I do this?

Make sure everything in your camper is turned off, find your tank , see if there's propane in it from the dial then turn it on. Try lighting the stove top first. That will put pressure in the lines. Do as Derek says and get manuals for other appliances. Then try lighting them one at a time. fridge, hot water heater and furnace

I'd start by lighting the range. The simplest to figure out and it will help purge any air trapped in the propane line for the other appliances.
