hamkid
Failed smog. Fuel vent line was leaking vapor. Replaced fuel vent hose, now gas spills out at pump immediately. If I elevate the line that was replaced will it fix or should I take to shop?
WME
The vent line has to go uphill with no sags.
hamkid
Uphill towards the tank or uphill towards the filler neck?
Derek up North
Up towards the filler neck so that any fuel in it drains back to the tank. It has to remain clear so that air in the tank can vent as fuel is added.
hamkid
I ran the vent line parallel with the fill tube along to the tank. Seems to be filling properly. Thanks!👍😎⛽️
