vtchris
Can it do any harm to constantly drive with the ECT on? 1993 V6.
Odyssey 4x4
I'd imagine just fuel economy and maybe the transmission getting a bit hotter when really hitting some heavy loads (towing/ steep roads).
Maineah
A 93 has a lockup converter that has a lot less converter slip. That being said when you reach a hill the first thing that happen the converter unlocks it may feel like it changed gears but it probably didn't trying a little harder it will downshift out of OD. The lockup saves you on flat ground because it will stay in lockup in OD the older ones took it on the chin at highway speed because they had no lockup. So yeah if your in the hills turn off the OD.
