Since I never bothered to read the ingredients before I cleaned my Sunrader roof I can assure any interested parties that Barkeepers is extremely mild. I pretty much lay in it. Need to be up there to polish properly but standing is just asking for a fall. Never hurt me one bit. It works best as a paste - and letting it soak... then work it again, It may not get your exterior clean, but I would be quite amazed if it hurt it in anyway. Loaned a messed up pot to a neighbor a long time ago, 20 years?, and got back what looked like a brand new one. Been using it every since.
