James Heyser
Rats made mincemeat of the wiring in the engine compartment, not spark plug wires but everything running along just in front of the dash. Should I be looking for a harness at a scrapyard, does anyone sell these parts, is it practical to build from scratch? Building from scratch, what's the best source for a wiring diagram? Derek up North
I'd be looking in a junkyard, except I know I'd find none near me. They've all rusted away or been crushed decades ago. Try "painless wiring". They make custom wiring harnesses with all wires labeled as to where they go. Not sure how much $, but a place to start. Maineah
Hint, if you are going to replace the harness cut any connection off short ( couple of inches ) switches etc. then you can match up the colors to the new one.
