linda s
Either go to a Toyota dealer and find out the right part with your vin or PM it to me and I can check. There are a lot of different throttle bodies coming up. Some for automatic, some for cruise control, and some just 8/88 to 8/89. Only a vin check will give you the exact one. Remember lots of 90's trucks were still 22re's and not the same at all. All have been discontinued by Toyota but an exact model number will help find a rebuild or equivalent part Linda S
linda s
Quote I tracked down the part number for your throttle body. They depend on manufacture date of truck. It does seem like one for an early 90's one would fit. These are not from a site you can buy from. Japan and lots of money but I'm sure the part numbers are correct. 22210 BODY ASSY, THROTTLE 22210-65040 (08/1988 - 07/1989) 1 $731.91 22210-65041 (08/1989 - 07/1991) 1 $1,067.18 22210-65060 W(CRUISE CONTROL) (08/1988 - 02/1989) 1 $731.91 22210-65061 W(CRUISE CONTROL) (03/1989 - 07/1989) 1 $731.91 22210-65062 W(CRUISE CONTROL) (08/1989 - 07/1990) 1 $1,020.
Maineah
Did you loose it, has it set a code or is it physically broken?
RVdaytrader
Wow...look at those prices!...thanks Linda for looking that up. Guess my chances of finding a good used one are very slim!......and Maineah, the reason I was looking for one is the auxilary air valve built into it is totally blocked up and cant get it opened up. Now my understanding is the valve is open when coolant is cold to increase the cold idle, and closes when warm. My warm idle is too high because the valve will not close when warm. So for now, since I dont use the RV when cold anyway, I will try blocking the air passage in the throttle body so it will allow the WARM idle to come down. linda s
Like I asked before. PM me your vin and I will try to find you the right one at a reasonable price or find another vehicle that uses the same model Linda S
