Hi All,

I purchased a 1987 Toyota Granville, The guy I bought it from said they swapped out motors about 10 years ago and never hooked up the overdrive switch. I would like to be able to turn off overdrive and leave it off but the switch is inoperable, I followed the wires from the switch on the shifter and found a plug down by the harness and that' connected. Where would I look underneath the truck? I have no clue where the overdrive wires would go after the harness. Does anyone know where I should look or have a picture of where they go in the transmission?

UPDATE:

I took an ohm meter to the OD Switch and in the off position, the switch is making a connection which tells me somewhere down the line those wires are not connected if the switch has to close the circuit to turn off OD.
