AbleThought
Hey guys I need new rear shocks for my 83 Sunrader.. am I looking for oem shocks for an 83 pickup or was something different put on the campers? Thanks!
256bit
Shocks are a very universal item and you don't need oem. Just grab a pair of KYB gas-a-just KG5434s or Bilsteins if you're feeling spendy. I run gas-a-justs on mine and it's a very smooth ride.
Bob C
I put Bilsteins all the way around on my "88" Escaper. I think they work pretty good with my T-9 air suspension. But, compared to a bottomed out suspension with blown out original shocks anything would be an improvement. When I bought the RV, it would bounce for a long time after hitting a bump. jjrbus
The cheapest shocks from Wal Mart would have been a big improvement over the hunks of metal that were on mine.
