I was actually just researching the 5mm poplar at lowes when I noticed your post. Still waiting on a reply from the DMV. once I get my registration (fingers crossed) I'll pull the trigger on repairs. Until then I'm just puttering around. If for any reason I cant register this rig it will be put up for sale for anyone that dreams of doing a coach transplant. I could always resell the axle bits and recoup my investment so I'm not worried about that stuff sitting.
