cjac Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 My 02 vw passat had STOP low oil on the instrument cluster , so I checked a few things , oil was to the full mark on the dip sick, change out the oil pressure senser I even cage the oil and filter same problem. Maineah Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 When I was in the used car bizz every auction VW we bought went right to the shop to drop the pan and clean the oil pump screen. Most were rental cars or off lease and oil changes were thought to be unnecessary. For some reason the VW's were the worst but we found the same problem on a few others.
