  1. I have heard of people relocating the spare tire under the coach but can't find anything on here. Anyone have previous experience to share or advice?
  2. Thanks in advance to any and all who can offer some suggestions. I have a brand new spare tire mounted on the back of my Itasca. It is mounted on the stuff carrier, not the bumper. Problem is, I want to put a storage box in the carrier to store things in but the tire is in the way. It takes up room in the carrier. I know some models came with the tires mounted underneath the RV. I've checked under mine and there is nothing there. But, there is room to add one. I'm asking for ideas and suggestions on where to go, what to ask for, where to add it, and if it will work. Thanks!
  3. Questions regarding an 18' 1982 Toyota Sunrader please... 1) How do I remove the spare tire from the bracket underneath the motorhome? 2) I don't have a key for the side door. Any suggestions/sources for getting a new key? Remove the lock and take to Home Depot maybe?? 3) I want to buy some really comfy seats to replace my stock front cab seats. I'll buy them used off of Craigslist. Do you know of front seats that fit the front cab of an 82 Toyota pickup with minimal modifications? 4) Can you recommend a source to buy some new rubber gasket material that frames the front windshield? Thank you. :-)
  4. The tire shops I visited for new tire quotes say it's absolutely necessary to keep 2 spares with me at all times, 6 and 5 lug spares. I see posts were folks keep only the 5 lug front spare and limp if one of the 6 lug duals blow out. I have a 22re automatic and I would like to get some weight off the back if I can. Anyone use a 6-5 lug adapter so they could use in 1 spare 6-lug in any situation? Again my main reason would be weight but could be persuaded to keep the same setup (2-spares) for any reason. Well dicount tire had $100 off for installation of 4 tires. I could get $200 off for 8 but only $100 for 7. Scenarios like that....
