  1. Hey guys, I bought an 86 escaper a few months ago. Since then I’ve been redoing quite a bit, including the cab ac. While redoing the cab ac I snapped the arm that offsets the tensioner pulley from the block. This doesn’t seem to be a standard part for the 22re, and I can’t find a replacement for the life of me! I was hoping one of you might have some expertise on the subject. I’ve attached a photo of the part. The only markings on the part are D 28, which I assume refers to the pulleys size and the size of the bolt. thanks in advance for any help!
  2. i purchased a "easy start" from ebay and installed last weekend. now my 2000i Honda genny will power my roof top a/c. the unit was $107.00 shipping included. a friend that is way more skilled than i actually installed the unit. took him about an hour start to finish. we connected the Honda to my shore power cord, and it worked as advertised. we started the a/c , let it run, then shut it off three times as a test. my Coleman roof top is the 13,500btu model, the Honda would not run the a/c before. very pleased with the unit and the results are what i had hoped for. joe from dover
  3. The A/C has been updated with new refrigerant but I keep having to have it repaired, recharged. The mechanic finally told me not to bring it back again. Now the heater and A/C fan sounds like it's going out. Has any one encountered this? The vehicle is in good shape otherwise...
  4. Hello everyone! I just bought a little 20 footer itasca sundancer from 87, such a cute little thing! Now, I want to install an air conditioner in it, but I need some advice... I got a used dometic low profile penguin, but it looks huge! Im worried about two things: is an extra 100lb going to slow down the little 4 cylinder motor down to a crawl? We want to be able to do some driving with it, and living in Colorado one will always have mountain passes to get through... The second thing I worry about is the roof: will it hold up the weight of this monster ac and not sag? Do you guys have any experience with that? Thanks!
