  1. I 'm quite certain that these monitors which indicated the water tank level, the holding tanks, battery, etc. are generally inoperative and have quit working on most Toyota RV's by now. Mine quit long ago although for some reason the water pump switch still works. My question is: Does anyone have a solution to knowing the level of fresh water in the tank under the folding bed, other than raising the bottom of the bed and examing the tank with a light, etc.?I believe the wiring from the tank up to the inoperative monitor is still in place and I wondered if one of the ingenious members on the forum have a solution to that situation. Thanks very much for comments. Jack Barr
  2. My 1990 Toyota Seabreeze has the old 3/8" gray water lines which have sprung a leak. Is it true that fittings for that water pipe are no longer available? If so, would that require running new PAX water lines throughout? That' scary. Jack Barr
  3. My '90 SeaBreeze has the old grey water lines running to a kitchen sink fixture which sits on the back of the double stainless sink. The plastic inlet water lines have fairly large connectors which screw onto the threaded male fittings of the fixture. The washers I referred to are in the connectors which screw onto the fixture. Must be a certain style of tool that can reach up in back and still have room to either turn them to loosen or to tighten them. Not a lot of room for pliers or channel locks. Hard to get a picture of the connections since the inlets are are rather "buried" behind the double stainless sink. One RV parts man wanted to talk about PEX water lines instead of my grey lines. Can't believe that with the many older RVs still on the road that simple items like washers for the older water lines are hard to find. This guy wanted me to convert my entire water system to PEX because he didn't have my washers.
  4. Anyone having a problem getting washers for the sink fixtures in the old grey water lines of the 80's? My RV stores both deny they carry waashers for the older sink fixtures. The washers in the fixture now appear to be a rubber washer with a shoulder, rather than being flat. Also, can someone tell me if you can combine the old Grey water lines with the new Pex system. Thank you Jack Barr
  5. jjrbus, I'm sorry that I failed to acknowledge your posting about the voltmeter. Good idea and thanks. Jack Barr
  6. Hi jjrbus, Thanks for your reply. My Entry Door assist and plastic lens is exactly like Darrel's. The one I ordered and received from Linda's links was close but not the exact fit. I did a little trimming with a razor blade and got it into the four slots but it has a gap in the sides which I might be able to cover. Thanks for your response. Jack Barr
  7. Darrel, Thanks kindly for your message. I wasn't sure how to send you a "message" so I saw your entry in another forum subject just so you wouldn't think I wasn't interested. You mentioned having picked up the item at Quartzsite. Been there many times but I'm getting too old to walk through the exhibits now. Darrel, please EMail me at: jb50hb@yahoo.com And, thanks again for you message, Darrel
  8. Darrel, I know I'm not responding on the right forum subject but I'm not too smart on how to send you a "message" on the forum so I felt at least I could respond to your message about the unit you picked up in Quartzsite. Yes, I'm certainly interested and your pictures on the forum are exactly that way my monitor looks with the Sea Breeze name. I'm sorry that I'm answering you this way but I wanted to let you know that I received your message and wanted to let you know I'm very interested. My Email address is jb50hb@yahoo.com
  9. My 1990 Toyota Sea Breeze (Dolphin) has a Acu-Gage monitor which has a series of little red lights that indicate the battery condition as well as the levels in the water and holding tanks. It also incorporates a push button that operates the water pump. When I pushed one of the buttons for the battery level, no response. I thought it might be a disconnected wire from the monitior to the battery but since the water pump works okay, I then assumed that the circuit board that operates that monitor and its red lights must have given out. Larsen Electronics Inc. made the monitor for National RV back in 1990 but I can't find any evidence of them now. Has anyone on the form any experience with the monitor and where I might turn next. I expect to have a needle in the haystack experience in trying to find a salvage yard with any old Dolphins or Sea Breeze rigs still around. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  10. My SeaBreeze model 800 has an Entry Door Assist fixture which has a hand grip for entering the MH and a 12 volt light. The fixture has a plastic piece over the light which has deteriorated from age and weather exposure. Does anyone know who might have produced the fixture and where I might obtain a replacement for the plastic piece. Thank you. Jack Barr
