  1. Derek, definitely. Linda, that posting has since been deleted but I was ready to drive out there. Those in so. Cal are not foolies apparently. I called and he said they are six-lug. Also, the guy in Sonoma is unresponsive. Frank that did Fred's swap says he'll get back to me by the end of the day.
  2. I just talked with my local used "wheel guy." While he certainly has Ranger wheels, he is not enthused by the idea of modifying it. Attached is what we're trying to replicate, if need be.
  3. Linda, I did cover the salvage yards in n. CA. Which wide wheels/tires are recommended? Yes, the super offset outer is okay. Both, so modifying a Ranger wheel with super long bolts is "safe?" Again, I know the real answer is to swap the FF but I need something in the interim.
  4. Linda, I still can't reproduce that search. Maybe in time I'll learn your ways. Anyway, I called Shull's and they aren't sure it's the foolie I'm looking for. I sent them a photo to compare, but a wildfire is threatening their area and, understandably, might be headed home early.
  5. Do these fit up with models prior to '86 with minor modification or is there another applicable product?
  6. Fred, I was cruising through your thread and thought I might reach out. Thanks for the lead! I talked with Frank and he's going to get back to me about shipping cost on Monday. PapaFred, I'm in area code 96145 but if you have a UPS freight depot nearby, I can pick up in Reno, NV. Let me know if you don't mind going out of your way. Linda, I don't know how you found that in their inventory without an applicable make/model but thank you. I'll give them a call in the morning. Time is a bit of a concern at this point so that will probably narrow all these options y'all have come up with. Thanks for the effort, everyone.
  7. Derek, Even without much info from the previous owner, I should have been able to figure out it was aftermarket. Indeed, It's a Spectra-Premium, though the model for a carbed engine instead of my 22RE. Cheers
  8. I, too, have an '85 Huntsman with a possible leak. Though, I have a replacement tank that looks like it will bolt right up, but the fuel pump hole size is smaller than stock. Is anyone familiar with this variation or know what pump I need to use the replacement tank? Cheers, Tom
  9. Hi folks, proud new owner of an '85 Huntsman here. While interior renovations are already underway and a FF/4x4 swap is on the horizon, my baby is only rolling on three (I know) tires at the moment. This unfortunate situation is due to a ravaged inner wheel and needs replacement in the interim. I have searched high and low for a used replacement to no avail. Does anyone have a foolie lying around that I can take off their hands or do I need to have one made? I'm willing to pay cost and shipping if necessary to get it ASAP. Though, if anyone has one semi-local to northern California, it would be great to meet you. Cheers and thank you for having me. Please brace for many other newbie questions in the future. -Tom Conte PS: I think this is the right forum for such a question. Excuse me if it is not.
