  1. I think an evaporator cooler is about your only choice or a fantastic fan. But I can tell you what I have for my solar it works great for me. I have 240 watts of Renogy solar panels 3-30 watt & 1-150 watt. I went with this combination because of my air conditioner on the roof it's what I had room for. A Renogy Tracer 20amp MPPT church controller with the remote. Xantrex 806-1210 PROwatt 1000 pure sine wave inverter with the remote switch. 2-Trojan T-105 6 volt batteries wired in series. I got everything off of Amazon and installed it myself. I live in this during the week where I work and with this set up running an ARB 63qt freezer/fridge, furnace, pump for the shower and washing dishes, 24" flat screen through the inverter a little bit each evening and the LED interior lights my batteries never get below 80% before the solar starts charging the next day.
  2. I'm east of Stockton, California in the sierra mountain foothills. I have a 1985 4x4 Sunrader, 22re, a/c in cab & on the roof, factory generator that I took out I just carry a Honda eu1000 in a compartment I made where the factory generator was, 240 watts of solar & 1,500 watt power inverter, ARB 63qt freezer/fridge because the fridge didn't work then I can use the ARB when I'm 4-wheeling in other 4x4's I have, 4.70 Marlin gears in the transfer case, 4.56 ring&pinion Still need to put on the front range full floater kit with disc brakes, build my front bumper and install winch, build swing away tire & High-lift jack rack and fiberglass the front windows in... I always wanted to build a four-wheel-drive chinook and then I found out about the Sunrader's so I was going to buy a 2-Wheel drive Sunrader and turn it into a 4-wheel-drive because I never thought I'd see one let alone see one for sale. So I looked at three or four and passed on them and then I ran across this one a little over a year ago and I love it it's better then I could ever hoped for....
  3. It does get a lot of reaction from people when I take it on a trail like though.... I have an 85 toyota pickup set up for the Rubicon and a Polaris ranger that I usually take on the trails..
  4. They're with me, one of them was taking the pics. We had five rigs that weekend 2 4-runner's, 1-84 Toyota pickup, my Sunrader and a 69 Bronco. I have a problem where I alway have to be in the lead when we're 4-wheeling... Lol...
  5. I'm doing the Front range conversion and keeping the fake duallies
  6. I have an 85 4x4 Sunrader and it is 9.5' to the top of my a/c shroud but the roof is probably sagging 1" its approximately 6.5" wide and it is actually 17.5' in length. Mine has a regular toyota 4x4 6-lug rearend with a stock wheel that has a ring welded to the inside of it then the outer wheel has what kind of looks like a top hat welded to the back side of the wheel and that bolts to that ring. I'm going to put a full floater kit on it and disc brakes also very soon.. I hope this helped I'm a newbie also first day on here...
  7. kgragert Beautiful truck, I'm truly impressed. I creep over parking lot speed bumps in my Dolphin Thanks kragert, And I creep over the speed bumps in the parking lots too... ha ha ha ha...
  8. Maineah That's cheating! Believe me that's not cheating... I'm sure that's the first motorhome thats been back in there, i've had it in there two times, but I won't do it again it's too rough, but it was fun and I always love a challenge and it was definitely a challenge....lol...
  9. It's a 1985 Sunrader 4x4 22re, and I love it! It's all factory except I regeared the transfer case from 2.28 to 4.70 gears and swapped out the 4.10 ring and pinion for 4.56 gears. Oh, and the solar system
  10. I've had this for just over one year. And this is some of the fun I've had with it. Don't know if any of you are aware of the capabilities of these things...
