  1. Just started a two week road trip in the rig and noticed some serious wall separation on the passenger side. Anyone else deal deal with this? How concerned should I be? The driver side is fine. This is above the side door and rear passenger wheel
  2. I need to replace my front brake pads, but I can't figure out which ones to buy. RV is a 1992 Toyota Horizon. V6. 3 liter.
  3. How can I check the fuel pressure? I've been searching like a maniac for a diagram of the engine, but can't find anything.
  4. Hey Sojouner, Did you have a case where the idle was high and then low and then the engine eventually died? That's what I'm dealing with now.
  5. 1992 Toyota Horizon This RV has been flawless until last week. It starts up fine the first time, but begins to lag when idling. Kinda chugs a bit and then finally dies. Gas tank is full. Air filter is clean. Added some stuff to combat condensation in gas tank. After sitting for a few minutes, it takes a while to start. Keeps turning over and then finally starts. It runs for a bit, but then the chugging/weird idling starts again. It's almost as though it's not getting enough gas? Thoughts?
  6. Linda Thanks a lot for your help!
  7. Hey Linda Thanks for your help. Do you mean this thing? So that shows it has been sealed off already? You make a good point about having a big hole there afterwards!
  8. Got a few pics. One is the outside view and the other two are a top view So from what I understand, I can do the following things (or pay someone) 1) shut off propane 2) cut line or unscrew it 3) once cut or unscrewed, I plug it or get some kind of cap to block it. 4) beers. I'm obviously a little nervous dealing with propane but if it's relatively safe once the line is shut off, then that's cool.
  9. When I got it looked at, the guy said the hot water tank was taken out. The heater is still there, as far as I can tell. I'll try and add some pics but since I'm on the road right now, I can't figure out how to do it If I do cut the line, does the propane tank have to be empty?
  10. Currently taking the RV from the Yukon across Canada to New Brunswick Dropped into the US in North Dakota, went through Minnesota (amazing!), Wisconsin and Michigan. We're now in Quebec heading towards the Gaspe Peninsula. RV is running great. No problems with the engine at all!
  11. I have a 92 Horizon. When I bought it, the hot water tank was taken out. This is fine, as I'd never use it anyway. My question is, can I take out the hot water heater without messing with the propane tank? Would the heater still be hooked into the tank?
  12. My outlets are confusing me If I am plugged in, they all work fine but if I'm not plugged in, they don't work. If I am not actually plugged in, should my outlets still work?
  13. I filled them at the gas station, and checked them a bunch of times. I'll drop them to 65 and see how it feels for a few days Thanks!
