  1. I'd hate to part with this motor so young... I only have 77k on it. When she dies I'm hoping for a Helix 1/2 clip for a Diesel upgrade
  2. On my 1991 Dolphin the panel over the cab (frontmost part of the side panel) is peeling away. Anybody have experience on repairing this? What is the ideal fix? Thanks in advance!
  3. Wondering if anybody has done any performance mods to improve performance and/or gas milage on the 1991 V6 Toys? (Mine is a Dolphin). I know the 4x4 crowd has tons of things they do but since this is a different application I thought I'd inquire here first. Thanks in advance!
  4. One question on the gas note, when I pulled the gen there was no fuel in the line. That could mean good things as far as varnishing... but does the gen "suck" fuel or should there have been some pressure/fuel in the line? This is a gas Onan that gets its fuel from the main tank on the RV.
  5. Ok my 92' dolphin 900 has the factory Generator and I was told it "used to run but won't" so I haven't even bothered trying it knowing it needs at least fresh oil and a new plug. So, if you've dealt with a 20 year old generator that's sat unused for a couple years at least, can you give me a primer on what other items I might want to look at? Carb rebuild? Etc. Thanks in advance!
  6. That's not it in my case, I even took thermostat off and directly connected wires. Any other theory's? Josiah
  7. NICE! I hope it's that easy - It really acted like it didn't get the "message" to turn on so that's a possibility, but if I have an on/off switch it must have broken off.
  8. Hello, First winter in my 1991 Dolphin and I've discovered the Furnace doesn't work. I turn up the thermostat as I've gathered should be the only required action and I get nothing, nada. No clicks (except the contact inside the thermostat which I verified is contacting), no fan (which I gathered I should hear firing up)... nothing at all. I checked the fuse and it's good. Inside I noted a small relay-type box with a button on top (with the number 5 on the button) and that button is recessed completely... I don't know if that is normal or if this might be my first check. I know there is gas to the unit. Any guidance?
  9. Just bought my first Dolphin. A '92 900 moldel with 77k. The refrigerator isn't working on either 110v or propane and I'm going to look into that but meanwhile I'm wondering if anyone has gone completely away from these in favor of more modern low-e refers running off the battery? I have a friend who did this (not in the context of an RV, think solar powered kegerator). Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed.
