  1. I've been away from site for sometime just got married moved to wife's house
finally got sometime to work on some projects

Made 4 2x2ft cement slabs to park rv on in back yard

Scrapped off old roof caulk and resealed vents and seams

replaced old toilet to a dometic 300 (picked up new for $50). Old one would not hold water & fill up tank if I had water in rv..

    now time to go camping!!!!

  2. Please post again when you know how much the gas mileage changed.

I'm going to adjust valves to & will be using a mpg app on phone..

    I will report back...

Off to Yosemite on Saturday from San Diego

going to have four people and food lots of beer firewood & camping gear so might be a little heavy should still get better then my last 13 to 13.5 going 65mph & going to lower speed to sweet spot 55 and see how much that helps :)

  3. Bought new oem fuel injectors from ebay for a 22re"c" engine my brother/mechanic wanted to teach me how replace injectors...
all went well till we found out I bought the wrong injectors :(
so took off efi for second time & found the right injectors reinstalled efi & broke off a bolt on the cold start ?injector? tried to drill & use extractor no luck but bolt drilled out and fell into intake so once again had to take efi off to get to bolt...
finally got everything back together and RV is running great and new injectors helped out a lot
brother asked what did I learn (meaning not to over tighten bolts) I said pay him to do it :)

  4. my engine is running good & I was going to adjust valves for maintenance reasons only & bought gasket kit talking to mechanic & Toyota Nation forum I decided not to do job because engine is running good at 72000 miles and don't want to have any problems after job from bad valve adjustment or just tightening valves to much....

    Should I do the job?

or leave it alone because its running smooth.....

let me know what you guys think..

  5. I was messing around with old camera & power it off running lights that had a bad & short connection the + wire broke off solder and fell inside rv..
so I took off kitchen cabinet sub wall to get to running light wires to pigtail & fix No-Go it was the running light that was dead center inside of wall separating bathroom & kitchen..No big deal..
Drilled a hole for new wires & spliced into exciting running lights
& got me thinking why not have backup camera & all wires tucked away inside cabinet sub-wall for a neater look outside & not running wires & rca video cable all over the place..
So I went to Fry's and bought a backup 170* camera that is flush mounted with rv came with its own drill bit for easy install $45w/tax
    to go wireless I bought a fm 2.4gh video transmitter & receiver ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DOQAGO2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) not blu-tooth :) fm signal works better//for me//
installed transmitter outside of sub-wall for better reception & installed receiver under dash..
works good & better picture than my rca cable...
getting ready to paint outside RV so RV skin is rough looking..

  6. I will update pics hopefully back of rv will be painted asap so it will look nice and clean

the price is right at $43 for pair

should be an easy install :)

They are very nice looking. Can't wait to see a photo of them installed on your rig. I do want to replace my tail lights next year. I have a different opening size but that can be worked around. I have to make a custom base anyway as my 1980 Sunrader does not have a flat surface to mount the lights on. Even the original lights used on it don't fit properly without 3 layers of black butyl tape at the outside edges.

  7. yeah it should not be hard to patch the holes

and my options are wide open:)

Your tail lights are the old Bargman 1400's. Nothing made today is quite so long. Closest is the Bargman 84 series triple long but it's a recessed light and needs a hole. I have never seen the 1400's surface mounted before. If your going to paint anyway filling a few holes isn't a big deal. I'd say your light options are wide open since you've got to make some changes anyway. I'd look for surface mount and pick from there.

  8. fan was stopped when I fried mine as soon as I flipped switch fried resistor...

good news we cut into rv and installed top portion of fan now waiting for usps to bring my new upgrade kit:)

    with a reverse switch!

    IMPORTANT

Due to weird electronic things, if you do this mod you must wait until the fan stops then move the switch. DO NOT change when the fan is turning.
