  1. ok, good to hear im not the only one. The Sun Land Express has aluminum siding, ( thanks to derek up north for showing me that link) so im not too worried about the structure..
  2. The bed over the cab is the worse area, My neighbor has suggested simply repairing the source of the leak, fixing it, and covering the damage rather than a renovation. I didnt like the idea but after he explained the process of trying to rebuild I am nearly agreeing with him. I dont think I have the skill nor money required for a renovation unfortunately. Any thoughts? I am 21, im just happy to have the thing despite some of the downsides. I think a received a pretty good deal so im not too worried about the few areas of repair.
  3. I am taking it off this weekend. My neighbor has a tire machine we can pull the tire off with and ill take it down to the lake maybe and check for leaks. I picked it up at the tire shop where the guy I purchased it from got the tires installed last fall. He said they were rotating the rear tire that is leaking now in order to make the valve stem reachable, so perhaps they reinstalled tit incorrectly. Fix a flat is in it for now though and so far so good.
  4. Its been a bit since ive been by, been driving my toyhome as a daily driver. keeping my foot out of it and averaging 16.4 - 17 mpg. Not bad... everything works so far! Including the coach A/C he said was "broken". Plugged it into shore and it fired up. The only thing im trying to research is the brakes. New rotors, pads, and master cylinder. But she is grinding a bit still. he said it was just rust... hopefully i didnt get brake duped. my only other issue is the rear inside tire has been loosing air every two days or so despite it being a brand spanking new tire. A can of fix a flat should take care of it though concidering its probably a rim leak...
  5. stove burners work fine. the oven gas pressure is low though.
  6. I have never operated a lp fridge before.... can someone explain the process? I could post pictures of the back of the fridge if necessary
  7. Trying to figure out where to go with this thing. Since my cab heat isnt blowing warm, the guy I bought the Sun Land from fired up the furnace which opporated fine for about two hours then blew out on the way home.. Of course this seemed normal because it was quite windy. So I fired it up yesterday and it ran for about 2 minutes then just blew cold air. Shut it off and shut it back on 45 seconds later and it didnt even attempt to ignite... Thats as far as i have gone with it as it was getting late. Any ideas? im thinking the gas pressure may have some bubbles since it was recently filled and not run in a bit?
  8. well i guess its not a MUST. but i plan on moving to colorado in the fall and i know its nnot possible to run cab AC while driving in hilly terrain.
  9. good advice. I do plan on running it while im driving down the road so that is a must... i dont think i am interested in that unit anymore... theres a few more older honda units for a bit more that look like they could work..... I defiantly would love to get the eu2000 but it would take some saving....
  10. I am really torn... she said she would take 2700 for the tandem axle he says 3000 but he had 4500 on it originally// his has 119k and some walls have water damage and no ac but new tires and new brakes and rotors.... she said it has 89k 75% on tires... and stored inside most its life.. and Ac works... i am almost leaning towards hers now! Please give me some input guys!

  13. Im thinking about having my neighbor (who is quite the welder) weld me a generator stand/ dirtbike holder for the back bumper. a few questions though. does anyone know if my camper is equiped with a generator compartment? and also if this generator would be a good match... it seems to be quite the deal. http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/tls/2884279373.html
