  1. This Dolphin has sat for the past two years and the fuel smelled like varnish so I decided to drain and drop the tank but after inspecting the vehicle I decided to cut a scuttle hole under the seat and remove and replace the pump this way and it works like a charm but now my gauge doesn't work!!Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? The only wiring that I had contact with was the pos and neg terminals.
  2. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a new or used formed plexiglas front window for a Toyota RV?I have followed up every lead to find the supplier for National but can"t find the supplier for the windows, can anyone help? Thanks Cliff

    Fuel pump

On the backstroke I have been renovating an "87" Dolphin with a 4 cyl. and can't get fuel to the injectors. Before I pull the pump from the tank how can I check to see if the pump is in fact getting power??Is there an inline fuse?? Will a v/6 fuel pump interchange with a 4 cyl pump? It looks like they both deliver 225 lph. Cliff
  4. 1987 dolphin with a 22 RE engine- I don't have a Chilton's on this vehicle so I went to the library but can't find what the spark plug setting should be! Can you help? Cliff
  5. I have been been renovating a 1987 Dolphin that has been in storage for the last three years,it has the 22E fuel injected engine with 139,000 miles on it.The mileage doesn't bother me because it will be used mostly within a 50 mile radius.I have compiled a check list of things that should be done before I tag it and I have hit a brick wall when it comes to the fuel filter!!Some say it's mounted on the firewall!NO Others say it's on the inner frame!NO and I've come to the conclusion that it must be inside the tank but I'am not sure, can anyone help??
