  1. Yoda had 2 old mismatched magazine racks and a entry assist that we never used on dinette seat back. Removed them and made one bigger book rack.
  2. UPDATE.....found the T505 on ebay for 35 bucks, so figured I would take a chance. Well the pins that engage the striker plate are a bit bigger diameter than the old lock. It comes with it own striker plate, but I could not remove the old striker plate without removing the door frame. So I enlarged the slots that the pins fit into on the old striker plate with a small grinder. I had to oblong the door edge screw holes and file spring latch opening a bit so I could raise the lock an extra 1/8 inch. So it was not an exact replacement, but now that its in, I like it a lot better than the original
  3. Has anyone replaced their L-300 with another make??...These 2 look promising, just wondering if anyone has used either one and if the original striker plate could be used with either one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DYVC60E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BIB04XI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  4. What size and what brand bike is that on back??...and what does it weigh??...I am looking to get a light motorbike for mine.
  5. Looks good!...I have the same fan in mine. You may want to install a fan speed control to be able to slow it down cause it moves a LOT of air. I put one of these in. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1PCS-6-90V-15A-DC-Motor-Speed-Controller-Pulse-Width-PWM-Speed-Regulator-Switch-/401047272148?hash=item5d6047bad4:g:jtMAAOSwJcZWgIwz
  6. A lot of the postings are months old, but it gives a good idea what folks are asking for their rigs. And it shows so many that you can check out all the different makes to see which brand you want to watch for. If I was in the market to buy, I would look at "all of craigslist " every day. Any good deal goes fast!!
  7. bobblefrog....Here is a site that may interest you. Has the most Toyota RVs for sale that I have seen. Nice breakdown of year, brand, location, etc. http://toyotarvforsale.com
  8. I see black in the corners of the cabover...check real good for water damage there.
  9. Joe...got it on Amazon. Dont know if your spot is same size. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I1CFC2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
  10. Put in new carpet end of November and want to keep it clean as possible. So I found a boot tray that fit perfect in spot next to the step and cut pieces of left over carpet for the step and the tray. Have 6 pieces for each spot. If muddy, have piece of rubber mat for step and remove carpet piece from boot tray and take off shoes there.
  11. Yeah, cats are ,ummm, special?? ...they say dogs have owners, and cats have servants!!....I'm sure I will miss our 16 yr old cat too when she goes, but not the hair all over, the hairball gaking, and scattered litter!
  12. Snail Powered...I like them. Ran to home depot and got a pack of 4 for 4 dollars!...they were white, so I sprayed them black.
  13. They make blowout plugs you screw into the city water connection and then pressurize the system...will work good up to the water pump, but not help if fresh water tank is leaking.
  14. Post this on rv.net and you will get a lot more replies since this site is about toyota RVs. This site gets about a dozen posts a day, while rv.net gets hundreds and covers all kinds of RVs.
  15. jde...I had one of those flip sofas in my sea breeze and couldn't get rid of it fast enough!...It was uncomfortable as a sofa and too narrow to sit or lay down sideways. When flipped to make a bed, it took up so much space I could not get passed it to use bathroom.
  16. Nice...all you need now are some AGM batteries that can really soak up all those amps fast!
  17. Finally got some nice weather here in Durango so I figured I would put in my new clear door window and new frame. I went with lexan and got their abrasion resistant type. Installed a roll down shade on the screen door to block off at night. Now when someone knocks on my door at night, I can hit my outdoor floodlight and pull up the shade to see who is there.
  18. Jim...The "seat" you see is where I pulled the flip sofa out cause it was uncomfortable as a sofa and too narrow to sit on sideways with the sofa backrest in place. Got a 24x24x10 foam wedge, used the foam from the sofaback to make lower back and knee wedges and cover them all with fleece. Here is a better pic.
  19. Either this site or my computer is messed up, but I don't see any of the pics that were on here!
  20. The wallpaper on the bathroom sliding door cover was boogered up. So instead of removing the paper and painting the cover, I made up a valance shaped piece of 1/4 inch ply and covered it with left over upholstery fabric that I had used on the window valances.
  21. It looks like there is water damage in the cabover...if so, I would not buy it...check carefully.
  22. If you can, buy one that was not driven on snowy, salted roads...mine wasn't and has NO RUST on the chassis at all...and check the cabover area very well. Any soft spots indicate rot and will be a BIG project to repair.
  23. oh yeah...forgot about NOTHING sticking to silicone. Would be OK if it worked, but screwed if it didnt!!!
  24. A waterproofing spray like this might help...try in the closet first, but should be safe. http://workingperson.com/atsko-waterproofing-stain-repellent-silicone-spray.html
