And quite a few have put in 4.56 rears and every one liked the results...that is on my to-do list when I get some spare $$ to play with.

On my 89 seabreeze the exhaust pipe was extended about 8 feet with 2 90 degree bends to exhaust it out the back. I am sure that puts more restriction on the exhaust. As soon as the muffler needs to be replaced I will do what you did and exhaust it out the side behind rear wheels

I like those...but will wait and hope the price comes down...most of the flat panel leds I put in have a row or two of unlit leds...the couple corncob style are good so far, but not as old as the flat panel.

Remove Furnace Put In Ac In Same Place?

Cold air is heavier than warm air so you would have a cool floor and a hot ceiling!...plus the other problems already posted. -
Fuel Mileage Of Cab & Chassis Trucks Over Time

My 1989 sea breeze with 3.0 averages 12-13 mpg at 50-55...the 3.0 is not known for good mileage! -
Linda...how is the mattress holding up??..It is not a very high density so I was wondering how it is doing! Does it spring back up each morning or is it showing depressions??

You dont need a double flare for a fitting that will have 11 inches wc or less than 1/2 # of pressure on it. We used single flares on refrigerant lines that had 250# pressure on them with no problems. On brake lines you want double flares.

I never liked the fabric on sofa and dinette, and sofa was too narrow to sit sideways (only 18" wide) and was not comfortable as a sofa. I took the sofa out, framed the walls to support plywood, new foam and new fabric (now 29" wide). Also did the dinette seats with new foam and fabric color more to my liking. Dinette seat foam was so soft it flattened down to nothing! Used new high density foam with ILD of 50 for dinette and ILD of 36 for lounger.

Hi, my 1989 sea breeze runs terrible for about 3 minutes till it warms up. Then it runs great. I am guessing it could be the engine coolant temperature sensor. Anyone agree with this or have other ideas what it might be?? Also, which sensor is it of the four sensors back by the firewall? And does anyone have a part number got the sensor? Different sites are giving me different part numbers! thanks in advance, RVdaytrader, (steve)

the cover they give you to fit in half of sink was warped and just too small. Got a piece of HDPE and cut as shown in pics. Slips over faucet and stays in place nicely, and comes off fast to use sink. I usually just wipe and dry my dishes with paper towels, but have use of sink as needed. Makes prepping meals much easier!

Time For Solar, Have No Idea Where To Start.

Here is a folding 120 watt panel at a good price...I made my own up before I saw this one. I have 30 foot #10 marine wire off panel to controller mounted close to my battery. This way I can park in the shade and put the panel in the sun. http://www.ebay.com/itm/80W-100W-120W-watt-12V-poly-folding-foldable-portable-solar-panel-kit-for-RV-/171311780467?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item27e2fa5273 -
I removed my ladder and useless roofrack, filled in and painted over holes. I have a telescoping ladder and find it VERY stable leaned against side of RV! You put it where you want to check out and do not have to walk on roof like you would with the rear ladder. And I find the inclined tele ladder easier to climb than straight-up attached ladders.

the bathroom faucet dripped in my 89 seabreeze...walmart had the complete faucet for $10...hardware store wanted 10 bucks for just 1 of the valves!

My mechanic burned my RV to the ground today

Wow, sorry for your loss...made my stomach churn looking at those pics...I have the same MH but an 89 with the same color and layout. Hope you find a replacement soon! -
We have 2 kayaks on the roof. I made a rack up with 1.5x2" aluminum to span the width of MH (did not want to put weight on roof). I got a telescoping ladder that I lean against the side and slide the kayaks up or down. The telescoping ladder is very stable, much better than trying to use a step ladder. I can put both kayaks up or down in about 10 minutes.

Thanks for the ideas...now yesterday I drove from Show Low, AZ to Durango, CO and it ran good until the last hour maybe. Then seemed boggy again. I did notice that there was no pressure (or vacuum?) when I took gas cap off when it was running good. The last fill up after it was starting to bog down, there WAS air rush (in or out) when cap was removed. The converter did come to mind, but would a bad converter problem be hit or miss, run good then bad?? Will have to check codes, maybe today, but it is time to prep Yoda for his long winter sleep!! *sigh*
