  1. Who said anything about paying? But I'm not about to start now.
  2. For the fuse box, I'd be looking in my local junkyard. Except I'd be wasting my time since pretty much all vehicles of that vintage have long since been crushed into little cubes and been transformed into Chinese refrigerators. Such is the rust belt! You could try www.car-part.com.
  3. The possible downside to the Toyota OEM installation location is that the MH manufacturer might have used that space for other 'stuff' (tanks, pipes, exhaust?). But it might be worth having a look to see if you've already got a spare under there.
  4. For years, I've just installed free versions of 'AVG' and 'Malwarebytes' and, so far so good. I'm bummed that my old versions of MS Office and Autocad won't work with my new laptop.
  5. Sorry to hear it. The painful part of the journey.
  6. I'm getting Kijiji (bikes) at the moment.
  7. The ads I see seem to mimic pretty well my other surfing patterns/interests. Google Analytics? So what other sites/searches have you been doing?
  8. On the subject of plug gaps, there are some (I'm not one of them) who swear that it's absolutely critical to buy them only from a Toyota Dealer because they come pre-gapped at 0.032" and that 0.30" won't work. I don't care where I buy plugs because I always check the gap anyway. If you don't own and know how to use a set of feeler gauges, how do you even know that they need adjusting or replacing anyway?
  9. I don't think anyone has any 'magic' recipe of specs that work better for a motorhome. The only 'magic' that seems to work is an axle ratio change from 4.10:1 to 4.56:1.
  10. I'm not familiar with where the tank is located in your Sunrader so won't comment on how practical it is to pull it and fix it 'properly' while on the road 6000 miles from home. If it's impractical to do so and you don't feel you can live without running water, would it be possible to cut into existing piping and have the original water pump draw from a 5 gallon plastic jerry can? You'd obviously have to refill relatively often.
  11. I could live with this! http://tinyhousetalk.com/van-turned-into-beautiful-stealth-sprinter-motorhome/
  12. It wouldn't take anything near 30psi to blow soap bubbles. I'd just cut up an old bicycle inner tube. But I've got Scottish blood.
  13. When you're tired of soaking your carpet, you might figure out a way to introduce a bit of AIR pressure into the system. Then you can search for leaks with some soapy water. Low pressure though. A few psi should do it without blowing anything up.

  15. AFAIK, the original porch light would have been rectangular.

  18. 8000 miles with a 'Bandaid' fix might be a bit much to hope for. Where are you now and where are you headed for? Maybe someone can recommend a good, honest shop not too far off your route. When you're towed in on the end of a chain, you're at their mercy.
  19. I assume that if you didn't have one before, you now have a 'poop' deck.
  20. No coverage of the V6. https://toyotachinook.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/how-to-keep-your-toyota-pickup-alive.pdf

  22. I'd like to suggest you read 'Travels with Andy' too. http://www.andybaird.com/travels/index.html I found it an enjoyable read even if not about Toyotas.
