  1. Nothing 2 pairs of air springs wouldn't cure. Looks like an oddball layout with bunks across the rear. Pity there are no inside pictures.
  2. When I was living in the UK in the 60s & 70s, they used to refer to HP S.A.E. as 'Silly American Estimate'.
  3. It's been a number of years since 'HP' disappeared from our snowblowers and lawnmowers to be replaced by 'cc' and torque. Doesn't help me if I'm looking for an engine for my 8HP blower or 3.5HP mower!! Here's our version of Harbor Freight. http://www.princessauto.com/en/b/driveline/driveline/power-equipment/engines/engines/N-syhaor
  4. Just tried the same thing with my Win10 laptop, iPad and Android phone. Same result going between pages, either up or down.
  5. That would be the 1st time I've ever heard of anyone swapping a MH 'house' onto a 4Runner.
  6. You could always do it Aussie 'Ricer' style!
  7. I'm going to guess that it's more a case of bolting Surf sheet metal to the original Toyota Pickup.
  8. Surf (Rest of World) = 4Runner (North America)
  9. Please don't try to moderate the moderators!
  10. I always enjoy seeing their work. I just wish there was more of it! Also, please, a bit of info about the rear axle you use. Another Japanese import? Got a link to the hob installed? I don't think we have any hybrids here.
  11. I'm sure 'Prince of Darkness' predates Click & Clack. Lucas also invented the intermittent wiper.
  12. It wouldn't be the 1st time that a new part was NFG straight out of the box. Beyond that, grab a multimeter and go back to basics.
  13. I (personally) feel that it's the MH Manufacturers frame extensions that are rated at 0lb. The 1-Ton SRW had a GCWR of 8500lb. The 1-Ton DRW are just as strong (IMHO). YOMV, of course.
  14. -37F is fine but only part of the story. There are other properties in an antifreeze (corrosion inhibitors, etc) that might be depleted. If you don't know your coolant's age, it might be a good idea to renew it.
  15. To cut aluminum and plastic, I'll use a hacksaw before dropping $16 (US$ plus shipping, duty &taxes) . But that's just me!!
  16. You didn't miss anything. That's why I wrote "IF he's smelled ammonia...".
  17. I think one reason they're still around is that a lot of people find it more than convenient to use one fuel source for their fridge, stove and furnace.
  18. I didn't say it wasn't worth a try. But if he's smelled ammonia in the past around the fridge, it's probably all leaked out and thus a waste of time.
  19. Or the amonia has leaked out in which case you'll be wasting your time. But you'll get some exercise without having to join a gym.
  20. Looks a bit 'crusty' to me. I thought Colorado was one of those mystical places (me being in the Rust Belt) where vehicles are rust free!
