  1. Possible interest, more photos, info and price , Please. Location ? JohnBoston
  2. I have also thought of this combo. I think Bajadulce showed just how much work it takes to build a mini truck before he moved to the larger T100. I think that the jump to the Landcruiser is kinda like leap frog. Does the series your using have a Free floating axle ? What is the GVW of the 80 series axle ?
  3. How about while everyone is waiting on the Sunrade project you show off the extended cab. I see these every so often but have never seen one in person. Is the frame one piece ? What size flat bed ? Due parts cross reference with 1 tons ? I can understand that when you don't need to pay at the pump keeping track of mileage is kinda pointless but It would be nice to know some real world numbers. It is hard to crunch numbers on a diesel conversion when real world data is so hard to come by. Something informative like "put the sawzall down". Congrats on the purchase. Good to see that it found a good home. I just missed out on an 80's 2wd that ended up going to the crusher, My Bad.
  4. Wait till I post photos of the axles/duals.... all of you will get a kick out of true American RV engineering. Not a bad view for a Sunday morning
  5. I know it isn't a Toyota but I thought it may be of some interest. Picked up the beginning of last month in Grand Junction Colorado. I've been working on setting up the interior and finding places for all my stuff. 1984 Ford Ranger Rollalong.
  6. Also in order to clear the center tunnel you would need to raise it. Then you may run into head clearance issues.
  7. Baja - What do you think about a Nissan 2wd Bandit with Dual Rears. How would it due off road in Baja ?
  8. What is it like living in the Bandit? Does it seem miniature ??? Post some pics of what you have done.
  9. Baja.... lots of the same things I have thought of or read others experience. I wanted to hear it from someone that has spent so much time in Baja. I would think your either living in the camper or outside the camper depending on the weather. Three biggest negatives - Dust, wind ( if those hinges let go that hatch could end up in Hawaii ), Dual sport on the back bumper ( having to move it every time you need to enter the rig). Thanks Baja, when are we going to see an update ?
  10. Bajadulce - Could you expand on the sideslinger over hatch. Supercamper seemed to have a cool concept, does it not work in Baja. I envision backing into a spot and opening the hatch. Maybe an enclosed screen room. Almost sleeping under the stars. I can see in the northeast the long seasons that are infested with bugs, that might suck.
  11. I built one on my 92 21 foot to haul my Derbi GP1 scooter. I also carried my Drz 400 but it was too much. I'll find pics if you can help me post them.
  12. This is great that I found this thread. I will be looking at a Bandit this month when I head backk to Massachusetts. I really would love to see some pics of your progress on this project. Also did you say you are in CO, Where ? I need to make a choice, Bandit or 18' Sunrader. Unless I come across a Slide in Truck camper first.
  13. I'd be interested to see the Bandit. Where are you located ?
  14. Looking to be back in a Sunrader by Spring

  15. OK Baja...... Now I know what your doing. I thought about cutting my 21ft but sold for 9k instead. I would really like to get myself back into a camper. The more projects I see the more ideas run through my head. Keep the pics and info coming your building a kick behind rig.
