  2. HAVE A GREAT TIME , It is actually fun redone my bunk area in oak 1/8 plywood, and put hellsman spar varnish, it is beautiful ! My interior was rotten right down to my wood framing. I'll call my 1983 toy Hunstman the MONEY PIT ! http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000059894165
  3. Please enlighten us as to where on the www you found the new tracks !
  4. WELL lets see the picture of your $ 12.00 3 inch ABS backyard made bike rack !
  5. If it dont have the 6 bolt full floating rear axle , like mine did not you can buy them relitively inexpensive. I paid 200 bucks for my 6 lug, and another 600 bucks to have the 5 lug yanked out and the new to me 6 bolt full float installed, and sold the 5 bolt faux for 150 buxz, to a guy that loves to play in the mud with toy trucks. Gives ya lots of room to get her way down in price ! Just mention the safety concerns, However my ol 5 lug never had a problem at all with 56 k on the clock. Go figure
  6. Awesome Looking good ! what is the name of the frosted film ? Enjoy

  9. Today is the big day for the motorhome and I. The 2 piece drive shaft is going bye bye, I about fell over backwards when I was quoted the price for the center bearing " carrier bearing" 120.00 dollars. So this got me to thinking call the guy that has been dealing with toy trucks for 40 years. he says heck put a 1 piece driveshaft in your toy , and I have one in the garage for you for 30 bucks. so off I go to pick it up this am. I will let ya all know what the driveshaft came out of, to help others get rid of this split driveshaft. : )
  10. Thank-You Got it all wired back the way it was from the factory and we are now charging You have been awesome explaining everthing to me and the way it is supposed to work. Thanxs much o
  11. Well I must have a few missing brain cells, and it is going to take a picture or a drawing, to understand this white wire. Is this what you are saying is the white wire that goes out of the voltage regulator terminal B goes to the top of the alternator lug B with a inline fuse, then a connection " wire " also comes off that same lug B on the alternator and goes directly to the POSITIVE battery post with a inline fuse, is this correct? Hows about a picture it could surely only help, some times pictures will help it click with people like myself that just dont understand. What size guage is this white wire that we are talking about at the Volt reg and at the alternator to the battery ? PLEASE send a picture or a drawing. Thank-You
  12. I do not understand yet how the white wire at the B terminal on the voltage regulator can go directly to the B lug on the alternator and then to the positive battery terminal. If somebody would like to show me a picture or draw me a picture this would be great. Is all that is happening here is a basic 1983 truck wiring as I have no coach battery or isolator. I bought a chilton and haynes manual but they is not helping me. PLEASE explain. Thank You
