On our old Southwind we got 8 MPG. Anything is better. In my experience you need to subtract 5 or 6 from any RVer's MPG. Ted

We have an '85 Huntsman with a spare for the front bolt pattern. Do these campers usually come with a 6 bolt spare for the rear end two? If not not how do you handle the need for two doffernent wheels? Ted

The family and I are new to the forum. Just, today, bought an '85 Huntsman. It's a nice little motor home. We have had a popup, trailer and a large motor home in the past. Sold the big motor home last summer and really missed the time away in it. We had planned to get another pop up but this unit showed up and we liked it. Not a real beauty on the outside but very clean inside. It will need a new gray/black water tank and a replacement front window for the cabover. probably a brake job, tune up and light bulbs around. If you have any advice i'm open to it. We're located in Dutchess County New York. Excelsior everyone, Ted
