  1. Appreciate the step by step troubleshoot. I'll give it a shot and report back.....greatly appreciated.
  2. I did the search on "isolator", and got a lot of hits....thank you. By suggesting that search, are you implying that the isolator under my hood has something to do with power to my outlets in the RV?? I'm a little confused because I believe the generator(under the bench seat with seperate battery) powers the electrical outlets. Is it possible that there is an isolator under the bench with the generator?? Sorry if this is elementary.......I am pretty handy, but not a mechanic by any means. If you could hint as to what to look for in the "isolator" search that would be a huge help!
  3. Guys - I hope this is simple. I got an 86 New world Toyota RV.....(still determining what a new world is, but that's beside the point) Electrical Problem: I put a new battery in for the generator and everything was fine. My buddies apparently left the lights on, etc and drained it....once we jumped it and charged it, NONE of the outlets work. To complicate matters this occurred while it was raining pretty good (we are addressing some leaks as well). My gut says there should be a reset button (similar to GFCI reset) or fuse somewhere and we'd be all good. We've looked all over and can't seem to find a reset or blown fuse.......any ideas?
  4. Here's another Pic.....note the entry door is at the back of the RV, the dolphins look like most are in the front. Also, might it be possible that New World is/was New Horizon at some point?
  5. Thank for the input,I have some more pictures, but I'm getting a message saying the upload failed and to ask the administrator for settings/permission. I managed to get one up though. I will get more up shortly. In the interim, is there anything you can tell me to specifically look for in the RV to help identify it? For Example, when looking at the Dolphin models I noted that the windows over the cab (in the sleeping area) are contoured, like ours - I think ours is plexyglass too......many other (non-dolphin) modlels apear to have flat windows. Might that help identify it?
  6. SO glad I found this site!! I have an 86 Toyota RV, "New World" I don't see "New World" listed as a model or manufacturer. Does anyone know anything about New World, or where I might be able to find any infomation on it. Here's a piture after throwing some Eagles Green paint over the old brown. A few of my buddies and I have done some work to this thing for tailgaiting, but mainly motor and exerior cosmetic work. I really want to start working inside the RV itself, but would like to find as much data as possible before tearing things up.
