  1. I would normally say to check out the Harbor Freight generators, as I have had very good luck with them. But they have reshuffled their line up and their generators are too large or too small (2000w or 3500w). Champion has a good lineup of generators. Linda and extech have good points about noise and weight. If you are using a portable Genset you want to run it on the ground so your RV doesn't act like a sound board and of course you want it as far away as possible. Just remember to chain it to the RV so it doesn't "grow legs and walk away"
  2. Recpro says 2500w minimum. The Honda is right on the line. A hot day and compressor restarts maybe too much for it.
  3. semi desperate plan to fix broken fuel level sender.
  4. This is where it began...https://www.mecum.com/lots/HA0423-551136/1969-volkswagen-super-bugger-beetle-camper/
  5. An overload is an extra leaf that makes the spring stiffer and will raise the ride height. Check with ARB about what's available and how much it will raise things. BUT first get it on the ground and get a reference point.
  6. Possibly over thinking the problem...πŸ€” You installed OME springs, have you bolted in the rear axle and set the truck on the ground ?? Did you use OME overloads?? The OEM airbags were a crutch to help the springs. The OME are stiffer than the originals ever were.
  7. Old Skool. set up amp meter, remove ALL DC fuses and put them back in one at a time. see what circuit is drawing power and start looking for things.
  8. Finally after weeks of Porsche, Ferrari and MBZ. Something interesting and it's in the USA with a clean Ohio title. So all the import BS is done. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-isuzu-elf-250/
  9. Jumping in to Mr. Peabody's way-back machine. Your first post has a good picture of the lower bracket. Some 2" strap-iron, a BFH and a vice or an anvil you should be able to make a set of brackets.
  10. After looking at the P/O's suspension "improvements", may I suggest a quick Google look at the ZUK mod
  11. 1. A Kohler is NON SUPPORTABLE. 2. An Onan 2800w generator, new is $2500-3000, used $800 and up. Don't forget install costs. 3 A HF 3500w inverter generator is $900, less if you watch coupons. It is simple plug in. I have had HF inverter generators for power outages at home. First one was 2000/1600 watt unit it would run 1 fridge and a propane furnace. Other house had a 3500w unit, It would run gas furnace and 2 fridges. Plus essential TVs, internet and some house lighting. The 2000 w unit would probably run your AC IF you installed a insta start booster. But that's about it. The 3500 w unit should run your stock AC and have enough overhead to run a microwave. There are other brand quality Inverter generators, due diligence is needed. "Industrial" generators are cheaper, noisier and burn more gas. So like how off grid are you going to be. Generators would be cheaper, but have you thought about solar?? There have been a couple of 12v AC conversions on this site
  12. If there was bad gas in the fuel tank, then there was bad gas in the fuel lines. Did you flush the lines too. There can be enough bad dirty fuel to plug the injectors. Critter nest under the hood, a critter nest in the air cleaner box is possible. Also critters LOVE plastic wire coating, any chewed wiring??
  13. Random thoughts. You can replace the cooling unit with fridge inside the RV. Lay it door down on a some bath towels or scrap carpet. If everything goes pear shaped, the fridge can be removed through the passenger door, BUT the seat has to come out first. Can you see ANY difference in the flame as you turn the thermostat?? When you tried to re start the fridge did it gurgle? (bad)
  14. 1 out of 3 fridges. Only 1 was a 2410. The 2410 was not a winner.
  15. Ideas from the cheap seats🀑. If a wack didn't turn it back on. Try the old stand by. Take it out and turn it over for a day, putting it on its side helps too. Whacking it in all positions doesn't hurt. I've had a 30% success with this procedure. Take an air compressor and blow out the boiler stack (tall skinny thing), rust flakes can block air flow. Here's what THEY say...https://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/rm2510_52.pdf
  16. 90% of the time the "coolant recovery tank" is attached to the radiator by a small hose. The hose normally hooks up to the radiator close to the radiator cap. The tank should be bolted to the radiator core support. Look for an empty place near the air cleaner.
  17. Its a fishing shack, duct tape and if you want to really tart it up then add a slip cover.πŸ˜‚

  19. I've polished a lot of belt buckles with Never Dull.
  20. Yep it's a 3 step job. But you can stop when you're happy, even just after the aluminum/
  21. Have you been keeping up on your pull ups, push ups and curls??
  22. Well things are looking up a bit, like $1400 total for the AC and 5 hrs worth of battery power. 3000btu, so it's a puppy cooler when your parked for a couple of hours. It comes with a 110v AC adapter AND and a 24v DC power cord. You do NOT need to buy their "solar generator" to power it, just series up two 12v batteries. Pair of 50ah LifePo4 would run the AC for 5 hours or so. That's $300 instead of $1100 for the "solar generator". Extra $$$?? a 24v 100 ah LifePo4 battery is $700 and runs things for 10 hours https://www.bougerv.com/products/2899btu-portable-air-conditioner?variant=43101668475096
