  1. Oh I forgot. We stripped the wallpaper off first of course.
  2. We sanded the walls and used Behr brand interior paint. Was custom mixed for our color and gloss amount choice. Went on pretty easy; especially the ceiling.
  3. Some more before/after pics... Got the wood floor finished today and the cab recarpeted: Before: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0790.jpg After: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0799.jpg Before: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0770.jpg After: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0797.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0800.jpg Thanks for lookin. Almost done!
  4. Pics worked for me too. Nice job Johhny. We are redoing our intereior as well. Not because of damage though. We are just trying to get out of the 80's; brown shag is/was not our thing. Will post more before & after pics soon
  5. Hey thanks alot! Got the floor laid yesterday and it looks and feels great. So much better than the brown shag, I'll get more pics soon. Good luck with yours too!
  6. Anyone else updating their interior? Before: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/a097_4.jpg During: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll9/jbzl2008/IMG_0793.jpg After pics coming soon. We are getting rid of the 80s shag carpet, doing "wood" floors and new paint, cabinets, hardware, etc.
  7. Or maybe something like this but with a more Toyota shaped MH and a logo or web address incorporated...
  8. I agree with what was said by Greg above. I know Im a newbie (with a 84 Dolphin named "Delphine the Road Queen" but I really like the saying of "Faster than the speed of parked".
  9. Hey folks. New to the group. Wanted to say hello and thanks for all the info you have all posted on this forum. Reading the info found here helped me to make a confident and somewhat educated purchase of my first MH. We bought an 84' Dolphin with 50,000 miles on it. Very clean inside and out. We drove her up to lake Pleasant in Arizona for 4 days. Put on about 400 miles Everything inside and out worked like a charm and she road strong and steady on the interstate averaging about 65 mph at 3000 rpm or so. The only issue I had was my LPG Dometic fridge stopped working half way though the trip. Seemed once we were home and more level it kicked back on. Any one got any info/advice on using these fridges? Much appreciate it. we are now getting ready to drive from Tucson to San Diego. Thanks again and hello!
  10. Hello all. Been readin all the posts here and have found them very helpful. Thanks for that. I am new to Toyota MH's and I am considering buying an 84' Dolphin tomorrow. It is very clean, 1 owner, with 50,000 miles on it. It has new dash ac and heater everything else seems to be immaculate. I have not test driven it yet but my concerns are (after reading about it online) that it does not have alot of power. Any insights or experience on this would be appreciated. I intend to drive it alot throughout the Rockies and then East to Michigan and then to Florida. Its just me and my lady so the load should be fairly light. Anyways, thanks in advance for any info or advice on the power concern or anything else I should look for or judge before buying tomorrow. Thanks!
