  1. Do you have a little more room for a tank. Little bit longer? If so consider this tank. Same tank that's in my Nissan Sunrader, 21.5 gallons and solid Nissan quality. 17202-11G00 Genuine Nissan #1720211G00 Fuel Tank Assembly (nissanpartsdeal.com) Linda S
  2. Your tank is in the rear. Not a Toyota fuel tank or anyone I've ever seen. What are the dimensions. Linda S
  3. We need to go back to your removing Sunrader bathroom thread. Please post some pics of this riveted thing there. Linda S I can't move just these posts
  4. Black tank seal. Lip inserts to tank and pipe from toilet just pushes into place. Most replace it by dropping the black tank https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-F02-2106-Rubber-Tank-Grommet/dp/B00PHN2O8G/ref=asc_df_B00PHN2O8G/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312342603579&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14367928086398167482&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032372&hvtargid=pla-567693199430&psc=1
  5. I used a piece of wood with 2 bolts through it to fit into the holes. Nothing has fallen apart yet Linda S
  6. Don't know what those rivets look like. Just searching what others have done in the past. Most have just cut that flange off but at least a couple said they unscrewed theirs. This is a good pic of one from a 1980 Sunrader. Does it look like yours? Also I emailed Toyoguy and asked if he could jump in and let us know how he got his out. We'll see what he says Linda S
  7. That ring is the closet flange. Try unscrewing it. Some lubricant and a little heat might help Linda S
  8. You actually don't have to remove the blower but that's the only thing you can leave. The entire freaking dash needs to come out. Replace Heater Core/ Dash removal (1986Toyota pickup) - YouTube Linda S
  9. I don't think you have to make any changes. AC and heater are just hooked up to the same blower. Your inside switch that turns the AC on is what determines where the air coming through that blower comes from. Linda S
  10. Mine doesn't have a window so I didn't even think of that Linda S
  11. Toyoguy removed his bathroom to replace his floor tnen put it back. You can look him up and message him. First order of course is removing all the plumbing connections. Toilet threshold, shower drain and sink pipes. Pretty sure after those are out you will get a better idea of what else might be holding it. No brackets or feet except for the leveling pieces I see at the front. Metal yardstick slipped underneath will help you find possible attachments Linda S
  12. You're going to need an 83 bumper too. Lots of RVs have been built on a truck a year earlier than the coach. A pain but not that uncommon. Linda S
  13. First 2 have been taken from the Toyota camper IO group. You will probably have to join to see them, toyota-campers@groups.io | Home 86-SunraderOwnersManual-Cover.jpg (groups.io) INST NT 12 16 20 S 204031 5-17-06 REV B.pdf (groups.io) More appliance manuals at Bryant RV manuals Service Documents and Manuals (bryantrv.com) Have no newer Sunrader manual but you can see it doesn't have much info anyway. This person has been selling these CD's for years. Some people have been happy with them. Surorised they haven't upgraded to digital. Who has a CD anymore. SUNRADER MOTORHOME OPERATIONS & AC FURNACE MANUALS for Toyota RV w/ Appliances | eBay Linda S
  14. You're talking about running the tires at max pressure. None of us do that, but when needed we have the capacity to blow them up if needed. If you're ride is really harsh you need to look at the suspension. Even so, it's never going to drive like a Cadillac. Can't really see much of that car but looks like a Mazda rx7 to me Linda S
  15. According to the KYB company website the model number WME posted is the correct shock for a 1983 Toyota truck. Linda S
  16. Singles would have to be custom made to fit the lug pattern. A few years ago one of our members had some made at Stockton Wheel. Don't know if they are still doing that. Your wheels are still not going to be interchangeable because of the different patterns front and back. I only carry a spare for the front. I have gotten flats in the back several times. I remove the bad tire, blow the remaining one to max and drive slowly until I can get it serviced. Also, even if you add a sway bar, nothing gives you more stability on the road than the duallys. They don't make it run rougher either. Don't know where you got that idea Linda S
  17. Parts at Amazon Outer Amazon.com: SKF 99138 Speedi-Sleeves : Automotive Can't find the inner anywhere Linda S
  18. I don't think a lot of them were made. Finding actual manuals from 45 years ago is a stretch. Manual didn't have very much info in them anyway. Has yours had the axle upgraded. Kind of important. For specific questions we can usually help. Anytime Linda S
  19. https://chico.craigslist.org/tro/d/chico-1978-camper-trailer/7678835572.html Sagging in the back. Needs suspension work. Bad axle but should be light enough to run single wheels Linda S
  20. Very nice camper. Unfortunately because they were never sold new in the US or Canada, manuals are hard to come by. Original manuals would have been in Japanese. I've seen a couple of mentions of google translating but no links to completed one. Parts are just as hard to find. Importers from overseas are usually your only option. This place has some parts and might be a good place to find help. Still a long way from Quebec Vanlife Northwest Linda S

  22. Very few choices for remanufactured. They just aren't out there after so many years. This is the only one I could find Toyota 22R Cylinder Head Reman (81-84) - Sunwest Automotive, Inc. (sunwestautoinc.com) Looks like mid 84 they went to the different ports which might be why your mechanic keeps getting the wrong ones. Where are you now. Your IP address is definitely not California. I might be able to find one in a salvage yard for you but I would need to find one close to your current location. Linda S
