  2. Very few choices for remanufactured. They just aren't out there after so many years. This is the only one I could find Toyota 22R Cylinder Head Reman (81-84) - Sunwest Automotive, Inc. (sunwestautoinc.com) Looks like mid 84 they went to the different ports which might be why your mechanic keeps getting the wrong ones. Where are you now. Your IP address is definitely not California. I might be able to find one in a salvage yard for you but I would need to find one close to your current location. Linda S
  3. His pictures are here Selling restored 86 Sunrader. - General Discussion - Toyota Motorhome Discussion Board Linda S
  4. No, I run this site and have helped people sell their motorhomes for around 20 years now. Just trying to make sure the maximum number of people could see your ad. Your welcome Linda S
  5. Can you not see that your title is "rvs campers used". Not only that look at the designation above it. This is where you posted it. Under travel trailers eBay Motors> RVs &Campers> Towable RVs & Campers> Travel Trailers
  6. If you can you really need to change the title on your eBay ad to Toyota Sunrader. "RVs campers used" means lots of people are missing it. Linda S
  7. I don't know. I have owned my Sunrader almost 20 years and I've never had one of those. Never seemed to need it either. My pump has never clogged up. I did replace my pump once but the motor was dead not clogged. Just another cog in the line to mees up is my opinion. Take it out Linda S But yes I do think it would work upside down.
  8. The only thing you're going to find out from your plate is your gear ratio. There's only one full floater and it has an 8" gear, the V6's are 4 pinion and because yours is an automatic it has a 4.10 gear ratio. Only other gear it was made with was a 4.30 but only on V6 with a 5 speed manual tranny. It's common to upgrade the diff to better handle the weight and on the v6 the preferred gearing would be 4.56. Common in 4x4 trucks and 4runners if you wanted to look. Your doing an amazing job. Linda S
  9. This is near Austin at a dealership. You should go take a look at it. Mileage as good as a Toyota or better. I used to have one similar and they are great RV's. don't know how the bidding thing works but you have time to go see it before bidding ends. 10. That model didn't have a front window. Strange that it looks like one from the inside. I have no idea why. So, that's too far. Find one in Texas. Here's a nice looking one in San Marcos and way cheaper 1991 toyota winnebago warrior for sale by owner - San Marcos, TX - craigslist Sooner or later you will find one but be patient. We have another new member who just went 800 miles to pick one up and had to have it towed most of the way home. He's got mechanical skills though. To be stuck somewhere after you spent so much money is not good Linda S
  11. So sorry that happened. Can you get your axle out. That's the biggey. All the other parts are readily available but if the axle is damaged it's going to be a tough find. Linda S
  12. Looks factory perfect. Good job Linda S
  13. I used to have a 93 XL. It didn't have a pop top but a permanent fiberglass full sized top. Mine was in pretty bad shape when I got it but man it drove beautifully. That big van window in the front gives a beautiful view when driving. Pretty much same mileage as my Toyota but lots more power. These sell for over 20 grand now so I'll be keeping an eye on it. Linda S
  14. Seems like a lot of weight to add on what we know is a flimsy construction. Removing that narrow strip between the existing windows might be a big mistake. Linda S
  15. Weird thing just happened. I know this wasn't on Rock Auto just a couple of days ago but now it's here. Worth a try More Information for RAYBESTOS FRC3467 (rockauto.com) Linda S
  16. OK here is the part match. The first is the Toyota part number for your right side caliper and then it shows the Raybestos part I posted on Amazon. How clear do I have to make it Linda S
  17. I take it back. How about Amazon Amazon.com: Raybestos FRC3467 Professional Grade Remanufactured Semi-Loaded Disc Brake Caliper : Automotive Linda S
  18. Unfortunately the Heavy chassis which is what yours is used a different caliper than the regular trucks. That particular part is now living in the twilight zone. I did find you a new one that would have to be shipped from Japan for the nice price of 570 dollars. 19. Some 2wd Tacoma's came with 5 lugs. These aren't too expensive and look pretty nice 2005-2014 Toyota Tacoma Wheel - Action Crash STL69457U20 - - PartsGeek.com Linda S Went through eBay too. These were the nicest by far Or maybe these. The offset would keep the center of the wheel closer to your bearings and the tire out farther for stability. 1 New Vision 15X7 5x4.5 5x114.3 -6 Gloss Black D Window Wheel/Rim | eBay Pretty sure trailer wheels would work too. They are made to carry a lot of weight.
  20. Here's a sway bar but completely flat springs should be addressed too. 1979-1983 Toyota Pickup 2wd & 4wd - Addco 334 Rear Sway Bar (3/4 Diameter) [334] | $146.63 | SD Truck Springs | Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts Linda S
  21. I don't think the weight is off by tons but even a few hundred pounds is your wiggle room. Nobody drives around with an empty motorhome so you do need the ability to put things in it. Don't know how bad your springs are. Are they completely flat? Shocks sound good. I think the main thing you need when switching to single wheels is a sway bar. I have a factory one and dual wheels but when that sway bar came loose my camper was swaying all over the road. With the narrower track of single wheels it's a must for stability. You're on the right path for sure Linda S
  22. If you open up the hole larger the plastic that goes around your fuel filler will no longer be attached. Better to go with a flush mount slightly smaller. I saw some that were a little more than 8 inches. Attach to the inside frame on your where you see the screws and grind off the old frame. Might need some Bondo to smooth it out but I'm sure you could get it to look OK. This one is 11x10 so should fit pretty close. Absolutely do not damage the inside of your hatch. There is no replacement for that Amazon.com: Thetford|B&B Molders RV Replacement Parts and Accessories RV Camper Extra Large Flush Mount Fuel Hatch Polar White PN 94313 : Automotive Linda S
  23. Here is a thread describing the wiring but in this case he fixed his old lights and upgraded them to LED. Wire I spoke of is on Bargman lights and have no idea what cutting it will do to a newer fixture. Probably doesn't matter. LED Taillight Conversion - Improvement and Do-It-Yourself Projects you have done to Share! - Toyota Motorhome Discussion Board Still asking detailed questions about a hypothetical change is not really effective Linda S
  24. We can't tell you if something will work if we don't know what it is. Don't understand why you can't remove existing lights. You should have at least opened them up so you know what's there. Just don't break them. Your original lights will have that white wire. If you took a look you might figure out why Linda S
