I don't know. I have owned my Sunrader almost 20 years and I've never had one of those. Never seemed to need it either. My pump has never clogged up. I did replace my pump once but the motor was dead not clogged. Just another cog in the line to mees up is my opinion. Take it out Linda S But yes I do think it would work upside down.

The only thing you're going to find out from your plate is your gear ratio. There's only one full floater and it has an 8" gear, the V6's are 4 pinion and because yours is an automatic it has a 4.10 gear ratio. Only other gear it was made with was a 4.30 but only on V6 with a 5 speed manual tranny. It's common to upgrade the diff to better handle the weight and on the v6 the preferred gearing would be 4.56. Common in 4x4 trucks and 4runners if you wanted to look. Your doing an amazing job. Linda S

I used to have a 93 XL. It didn't have a pop top but a permanent fiberglass full sized top. Mine was in pretty bad shape when I got it but man it drove beautifully. That big van window in the front gives a beautiful view when driving. Pretty much same mileage as my Toyota but lots more power. These sell for over 20 grand now so I'll be keeping an eye on it. Unfortunately the Heavy chassis which is what yours is used a different caliper than the regular trucks. That particular part is now living in the twilight zone. I don't think the weight is off by tons but even a few hundred pounds is your wiggle room. Nobody drives around with an empty motorhome so you do need the ability to put things in it. Don't know how bad your springs are. Are they completely flat? Shocks sound good. I think the main thing you need when switching to single wheels is a sway bar. I have a factory one and dual wheels but when that sway bar came loose my camper was swaying all over the road. With the narrower track of single wheels it's a must for stability. If you open up the hole larger the plastic that goes around your fuel filler will no longer be attached. Better to go with a flush mount slightly smaller. I saw some that were a little more than 8 inches. Attach to the inside frame on your where you see the screws and grind off the old frame. Might need some Bondo to smooth it out but I'm sure you could get it to look OK. This one is 11x10 so should fit pretty close. Absolutely do not damage the inside of your hatch. We can't tell you if something will work if we don't know what it is. Don't understand why you can't remove existing lights. You should have at least opened them up so you know what's there. Just don't break them. Your original lights will have that white wire. If you took a look you might figure out why Linda S
