The door to our camper is falling apart. The wood frame is rotted. Seeking advice before I tear into it. What kind of wood should i use? Do I need to utilize the metal rod that was inserted into the routed wood frame? What kind of adhesive should i use for the reattaching the aluminum skin. Lots of soft spots throughout the camper indicating rotted framing. Wondering if it's necessary or worth it to replace it? Do I have to remove the entire outer skin? Thank you!
