  1. Howdy folks, Any tips on replacing the over cab plexiglass windows, Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the words of wisdom Linda. you are so helpful to so many RVers on this site.
  3. Howdy Folks, Well, with Linda S's continued encouragement and Sunny '79's, my son and me replaced the shredded piano hinge that works the rear hatch. It took 2 hours. We bought a replacement hinge from McMaster and my son took it to his shop and predrilled all of the installation mounting holes. We drilled out the old pop rivets and popped in new ones. Mighty glad this big job is over. Now its time to get rid of 40 years of spider webs and road gunk! Happy trails.
  4. Hey Sunny Where the heck is the horn on your truck? Mine is in-op and I can find where it is or if it even has one.
  5. Hi Linda, the guru.

my 78’ Sunrader came to me with a broken sink faucet hooked up to the fresh water tank via a barbed fitting.

I have no clue where to find a fitting/connector to hook up a new faucet with a standard threaded make end to a 3/8” hose line from the tank.

    any thoughts.

  6. Darned impressive work young man.
  7. I ski Tahoe every year. Its only 2 -1/2hours away. I will reach out to him. Thx Linda
  8. Thanks Linda. There is a little switch to the right of the rotten faucet that runs down to the water tank. I plan on pulling out the other odd switch cover plate , post pix and see where it goes. we live 8 miles from where the Sunrader was assembled. it spent all of its time in Santa Cruz or Benicia.
  9. Way cool work. I just bought my neighbor’s 1978 and am restoring it too. Certainly less ambitious than yours. We are out in Benicia. keep up the great work.
  10. Hi Linda S. there is a “thing” on the right front side under the sink that you can see in the above picture. It’s part of a rectangular cover plate. The center silver part is there but it’s not a button switch that I can see. What the heck is it?
  11. The list is endless from the drivers side window regulator to taillights , turn signals, etc. The original lino floor was in poor shape with wood subfloor damage. Thats been repaired
  12. Greetings I just bought a neighbors Sunrader about a month ago. Everything is broken and since the CoVid lock down, its been my daily rabbit i am chasing. Lots of things done already but some such more to tackle. Be safe folks.
  13. Greetings. We are in the same boat as you. The hinge used is a piano hinge secured on both the lift up rear hatch and the roof. We will post pictures as we repair
