  1. If your toyota had the overhead lamp forthe rear view u can tap 12 v there and have kendall power while keeping cords tucked out of view. If into tinkering u could remove the guts from a cig to usb adapter. And wire it to the mirror light power so there is simply a usb port fir the charge wire to connect.
  2. This could be for any camper or motorhome. But my thought was to build a new camper structure completly. Avoiding wood. And reducing weight. My thoughts are to use .75 - 1” 4130 chrome molly tubing as frame work for sides and roof, then sheeting outside with 4 mm corrugated plastic sign material and coating over it with a couple layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin - or a thick coat of plastidip. That stuff is great and very tough. Then on the interrior filling the void with bubble wrap or light weight foam sheeting and inside layer of the sign board. Im thinking loose lbs, and if i get leaks i dont have to tote the water weight around Ive found 7/8” 4130 at $1.05 a foot in .028 and .156 wall thickness ive built with 0.65 and 0.49 in the past and know welding it is not too tough. And the sign board varies but found reasonabile priced large hd sheets 4x8 at $313 for 10 sheets total weight of 65lbs my thought on the frame work was the outer edges and every 3rd or 4th row with the thicker molly guesstimate 160-200lbs and using the thinner tubing inbetween having a row every 12” with cross brasing 2 rows around also thin wall 4130. Would be aprox 180-200’ at 0.253 lbs per foot so 50 lbs added to the thick wall at 200 lbs in theory the shell 3-400 lbs including insulation Outer coating And rivets to fasten the plastic board. I also imagine it would be much safer in a crash vs wood.   3. If u use a honda or mikuni low GPM vaccum fuel pump for the generator it will work perfect for a carburated generator and never cause crazy fuel dump problems. They cost 10-20.00 ea and are avalabile at any small engine parts place. Golf cart parts ect. This does not solve the pickup problem. And u have to add a nipple to the generators intake manifold to connect the vaccum line to the pump. But makes for problem free fuel pump for the genny.
  4. Tires can be found at superwalmart the fiberglass exterior models seem to be less leaky. 6lug dually rear is a upgrade and ideal vs the under par 5 lug dually Depending on model. Matching front adapters makes tire rotation possible and only need one spare. I've only seen a few up close and own a old 85 coachman with the 22r So let the others chime in A buddy of mine has a warrior with the v6 and loves it. I've got my eyes on a sunraider i can get cheap meaning lots of work but a 50 k mile rig with the 22re keeping my fingers crossed i can save up the cash before someone else nabs it up
  5. If the ac system requires recharging when nothing else is broke it is leaking. You could attempt to locate the leak with very soapy water , like classic dawn mixed about 50/50 in a spray bottle or simply brushed on all the fittings & connections you can find. Check the high and low access ports with the caps removed and check across the entire condencer. The condencer sits in front of the radiator and looks about the same. And use plenty on the compressor where all hoses connect and in between the housing and pulley. all the while looking for bubbles to keep forming indicating a leak If no leaks are found it could be in the evaporator coil that is a lot tougher to get to.
