  1. Thanks everyone. I made an offer to purchase it and now we wait to see what happens! If we snag it up, I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot more time on here
  2. I would do all the work myself. I'm a car mechanic on the side so I'm familiar with car engineering just not motor home/camper stuff. I know it doesn't run because I'm pretty sure a mouse has chewed the wiring harness. As for the inside I have no idea what works and what does it and I haven't crawled underneath it yet but I can confirm it's the one ton axle. It's got some issues like a cracked front window some missing aux lights, brakelight busted, roof sags a bit, the air conditioner probably doesn't work. I'm mainly looking at grabbing this and making it a long-term project to get it roadworthy. So with a title and non-running condition you would say 500 is fair?
  3. Hi guys and gals. I'm new here looking for some advice. My neighbor is trying to get rid of his Toyota Dolphin RV that doesn't run. Its sat for 2 years and has the 6 lug nut axle. It appears to have mice inside, some roof water damage, but the floor is SOLID. I doubt it was ever winterized properly so i'm assuming NOTHING works. I dont know they year or anything yet. I'm assuming he has a title. I just want to get my facts before making an offer Its a 5 speed with approx 50k miles so i'm assuming speedo has NOT rolled over. He was asking $500. Personally I would not go over $150. I have never owned a camper or rv, and I would like some advice on this situation. I would want to a remodel but not sure of what to expect.... Thanks in advance
