  1. If not what is the correct size for a 93 Toyota Warrior?
  2. Just looked up the VIN and it's due for the head gasket job. Good news is that it's still covered by Toyota & I might be able to use the fact that it was never done as a negotiating point.
  3. Thanks guys. Ill be getting the VIN tomorrow so I can check with the dealer on Monday & also get an insurance quote.
  4. We have 2 hairless Sphynx Cats that love the car and do great on road trips in small vehicles so I with many times the space in the RV im sure they would do even better. I imagine we'd put a liter box with lid in the shower area while driving and in the front cab while sleeping or at night. We would of course need to be careful that they don't run off (extra watching the doors etc) but they prefer the heat so as long as we make sure there is airflow they would be fine all day inside without us.
  5. It's insane how absolutely perfect this 93 warrior is ... no wonder the bugs are already up to $20,000 and will probably go higher. This would be like buying a brand new 93 but 25 years later This not my eBay listing. Just wanted to share what found. https://www.ebay.com/itm/222889326444 -------- 1993 TOYOTA WINNEBAGO WARRIOR DETAILS: Up for auction is our pristine and very rare 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior RV. We are the second owners. We purchased our Toyota in 2015 from an RV dealership in Fargo, ND. This dealership purchased the RV from the original owner. Our Toyota was originally sold new in Fargo, ND and has spent its entire life in enclosed storage (Minnesota and Arizona). The RV runs, handles, and operates like brand new. The tires are original and in near new condition. The paint shines like it did 25 years ago. Winnebago is a top of the line conversion. This was a Consumer's Digest "Best Buy" motor home in 1993. It has been obvious to us of the high quality products that were used. There are no known repairs needed, and there has been no known damage to the RV (water or otherwise). There have been no accidents and the RV has a clean Carfax. We have loved the trips we've taken and have never run into any issues (including the 2,000 mile drive from Fargo to Tempe), and fun trips to Mexico, Malibu, Flagstaff (2X), and Sedona. We are selling this little gem because we have extended travel on our horizon and are in the process of downsizing and reducing our expenses (RV storage, insurance, etc). TOYOTA TRUCK DETAILS: Our RV is Winnebago quality built on top of the famous and reliable Toyota Truck. It has lots of power, and still manages to produce 15-18 MPG (depending on road conditions). It cruises very nicely at 65 MPH and can go comfortably up to 75 MPH, but we have babied her between 65-70 MPH. It runs on an automatic V6, 3.0 Liter Toyota Engine that is barely broken in (19,511 miles to be exact). The engine and fluids were serviced at 15,000 miles. There are no leaks whatsoever. For over 25 years, this 21.5’ Toyota RV has been extremely well cared for. There is not a noticeable dent, ding, or blemish on the Toyota truck’s body. As described earlier, the paint is immaculate with no sun damage or even road wear damage. The interior of the truck is equally as flawless. The dash is perfect and looks as if it has never seen the sun. The seats and custom Winnebago upholstery are in amazing condition and even comes with the original factory Winnebago floor mats. The coach body has the original stickers that have a tiny bit of fading/cracking which is typical for the age, but the fiberglass itself (as you can see from the photos) is in like new condition. This Toyota includes factory installed ice cold air conditioning. There are no issues with rust or signs of chassis deterioration. NEW and/or AFTERMARKET ITEMS: The Toyota has a new exterior awning, bumper, and Class C hitch. We use the hitch for our bike rack (NOT INCLUDED) but it can also be used for extra storage or a utility rack. There's a brand new coach battery and snap on safari screen room. We are big music fans so we had a Pioneer AVIC-7200NEX system installed that includes all new cab and coach speakers along with a sub woofer that is strategically placed within a storage compartment of the unit. This Sound/AV system includes navigation, Bluetooth phone system with microphone, and a backup camera. Additionally, we built a custom stand for a flat screen TV/DVD that can be put up and taken down with ease. INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS: The interior has everything a larger motor home has, like a full sized shower, coach AC, stove, and a stainless steel sink. Our Toyota comes with a propane furnace, propane hot water heater, and a propane refrigerator that also runs on electricity. There's a large wardrobe closet in the rear that has custom shelving to maximize usage of the space. There is plenty of storage throughout the RV and it can sleep 4 (although we have only ever slept two). There is also a built in Onan Generator with only 105 original hours of operation. Every original appliance, part, and feature remains in tact and is in pristine condition. This includes brass railings, spice rack, overhead reading light, bed mattress, wall clock, blinds and window coverings, cloth cab separator (see pictures), among many others. The manufacturer’s sticker is still on the original microwave. Everything functions as new. We are very meticulous about our personal property, and our Toyota RV is no exception. The RV has never been smoked in. There are no strange smell or stains. All upholstery and fabric is in like new condition including the original and matching couch and mattress pillows. The cabinet fronts are solid wood, the fabric on the furniture is plush and like new. The bathroom is spacious. The carpet has always been covered in plastic since brand new and shows no signs of wear and tear. When we purchased the RV it still had the original factory plastic covering the floors. We just recently removed the plastic from the area in front of the couch to enhance the comfort. The kitchen and bathroom floor plastic remain in tact. SALE DETAILS: Our Toyota Winnebago is 25 years old, so it is not new, but does look as if it were just driven off the showroom floor. It is being sold AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and all SALES ARE FINAL. I have included pictures of some very minor blemishes so there will be no question about the quality and care of the unit. Everything works 100%. If you'd like to hire an RV Inspector, we’d be happy to make the RV available for an appointment. We do not need to sell and are not in a rush. This very well could be the cleanest and most well maintained Toyota Winnebago RV on the road today. Every operation manual that came with the original sale comes with the RV. We even have the original window sticker. We will include in the sale everything you would need to leave Phoenix ready to camp. You’re more than welcome to our, kitchenware, bedding, pillows, sheets, blankets, comforter, etc. If you're thinking about flying into Phoenix, plan on packing just your clothes as you’ll have everything you need for your drive home or road-trip adventure. ***Bike rack not included in the sale. If you would like to chat, or have any questions, please send us your contact information and we will call you directly. We prefer not to do eBay messages, so there's no misunderstanding about our 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior. DEPOSIT: A $2,000.00 NON-REFUNDABLE wire transfer deposit will be required to hold the RV and is due within 24 hours of winning the auction or clicking the "Buy it Now" button. The remaining balance will be due within 7 days. FULL PAYMENT: Full Payment is due within 7 days of winning the auction or clicking the "Buy it Now" button. The balance can be CASH in person upon pickup and exchanged at a local Phoenix, AZ Wells Fargo, or advance wire transfer. You can wire transfer the remaining balance AFTER viewing the motor home when you arrive. Please note that wire transfers take 24-48 hours to clear, so be prepared to spend the night in a hotel, waiting for funds to clear, if you choose this option. SHIPPING OR PICKUP: The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with picking up or shipping the vehicle. If you are the winning buyer, please be prepared to take possession of the RV within 14 days of winning the auction.
  6. Thanks for the info ... my questions are ... I know the timing belt would be part of the general maintenance but what if the head gasket was never blown & hasn't needed to be repaired? As a Subaru guy I know that it will likely need to be done at some point but from my experience with subarus it's not something someone would do unless it was needed. Also Is the valve adjustment part of the general maintenance schedule or just something you'd hope they'd decided to do?
  7. Will be going to look at a 94 Warrior I'd like to buy in a few days. Just not sure what items I should have on my checklist to know & ask the mechanic / RV tech about when I get it checked out. Thanks got the help.
  8. I know normally it's hard to get financing on a vehicle this old. Wondering these EEE would be an exception due to being a specialty vehicle. Has anyone financed one bought private party & if so who did you finance through?
  9. 5k is the most I'd pay. I just have to keep searching I guess. The right one will come along. If I have to wait till the fall / winter then I'll wait.
  10. Did you end up buying one? if so what year, configuration etc? And how much did you pay?
  11. It seems like a lot of them are priced really high (well over $10k) but the equipment / condition / miles etc; isnt necessarily better on those than the ones that are less. I guess its just a waiting game to find the right one.
  12. Makes sense I guess. I didn't pay attention to what month the older ads were posted. Just seems like A LOT more of these were up for sale a couple years ago
  13. Not sure if I'm just unlucky but I've been searching for a couple weeks for a Toyota RV & it seems like now isn't the right time to be looking. Most st I've found are priced quite high compared to what I found that WAS available 3-6 years ago. If anyone has leads I'd appreciate it im in Southern California but would obviously travel if we found d the right vehicle.
